How we work
Seven things you can hold us to.
We meet every teacher
In person, before they teach. We check the teaching qualification and the enhanced DBS certificate ourselves rather than taking a CV at its word.
We match on the child, not the subject
Subject and level narrow the list. The judgement that matters is which teacher this particular child will actually open up to.
We tell you when we cannot help
Sometimes the answer is a different kind of support, or no tuition at all, including when a goal isn't realistic in the time. We would rather say that than take the booking.
One clear rate per tier, nothing on top, and most of it only for results
You pay one hourly rate for your teacher's tier and nothing more: no booking fee, no service charge. 20% of it pay-as-you-go with each lesson, and the other 80% only for the result your child reaches.
We keep contact inside the platform
Messages between you and your teacher stay here, and phone numbers and emails stay hidden until you've arranged to meet.
We put the goal in writing
What success looks like, by when, how it's tested, and what you pay in each outcome.
We pay our teachers either way
Your child's result changes what you pay, not what your teacher earns. The risk sits with us.
