Who we teach

The room matters. Your child matters more.

A library is not a teaching method. One adult paying full attention is.

Never puts a hand up

One to one, there is nowhere to hide and nothing to be embarrassed about.

Freezes in exams

We practise exam conditions until the room stops being frightening.

Quietly bored

A tutor two years past their own A-levels knows how to make it interesting again.

Why in person

A screen delivers content. A person notices your child.

Confusion shows on a face long before a child admits to it.

  • Nowhere to drift

No notifications, no second tabs, no half-listening.

  • Someone they will listen to

Tutors who sat the same exams a couple of years ago.

  • Somewhere you trust

Staffed, public academic buildings. Never a private home.

Safeguarding

The questions you would ask us in person.

  • Enhanced DBS checked

Identity, qualifications and references verified first. No exceptions.

  • Public academic spaces

Study rooms and supervised reading areas inside staffed libraries.

  • Stay if you want to

Wait in the café or reading area as long as you like.

  • A report every session

What was covered, what went well, what is next.

“A year of online sessions and she had barely moved. Two months in a real library with someone who sat her exams four years ago, and she started working without being asked.”

FAQ

Before you commit anything.

Who are the tutors?

Current students and recent graduates of London's leading universities. Every one is interviewed, reference-checked and enhanced DBS checked.

Can we really use a university library?

Yes. We book study rooms in academic libraries that admit external visitors. Your confirmation email names the entrance and what to bring.

What happens in the free lesson?

A full-length lesson at no cost. No card, no obligation to book again.

My child is shy. Will they cope?

Most are quiet for twenty minutes and fine after that. You can stay in the building, and we will say so if the match is not working.

Which subjects and year groups?

Primary to A-level. Maths, sciences, English, humanities, languages, plus 11+ and Common Entrance.
