Naymah Hussein

I'm a secondary maths teacher with five years' experience teaching KS3, GCSE (Foundation and Higher) and A Level Pure, Statistics and Mechanics. I currently teach at Haberdashers' Borough Academy, where I run Year 11 interventions to help students hit their target grades.

My approach is simple: find the gaps, then close them. I use question-level analysis to pinpoint exactly where a student is losing marks, and I adapt every lesson, whether that means scaffolding for students who need more support or stretching those aiming for top grades. I hold a BSc in Chemistry from UCL and a PGCE in Mathematics from King's College London, and I'm passionate about helping students, especially girls, feel confident choosing maths at A Level and beyond.
